This X-ray tomograph from Rx Solutions enables the high-resolution characterization of materials. It was commissioned in April 2013. It is equipped with a "nanofoyer" Hamamatsu tube which has the distinction of being able to work with 2 types of filaments: · tungsten (resolution 0.75 μm, 160 kV) · LaB6 (resolution 0.25 μm, 100 kV) It has 2 types of detector (Hamamatsu), a very high resolution CCD camera adapted to low energies (matrix of 4000 x 2624 pixels, pixel size 5.9 μm) and a flat sensor ( 2400 x 2400 pixels of 50 μm) allowing the acquisition of high-resolution images with higher energy (up to 160 kV). The imaging system is mounted on a granite optical table supported by 3 air cushioned pads. The motorized air-bearing rotation stage allows a very precise rotation of the sample necessary for submicron resolution. Do not hesitate to contact the manager of the platform for more information.
