  The aim of this portal is to display clearly the service offer proposed by "Université de Lyon" around facilities dedicated to experimentation and analysis. This portal is fully opened to academic teams and industry.

  Both industrial and academic laboratories, from France and other countries in the world.
• What kind of service can I find on MEANS portal ?
  Three kinds of services are proposed:

  • Full support : Machine + engineer
  • Access to the machine with punctual assistance of engineers
  • Training courses
• I am an industrial, what can I expect from MEANS portal ?
  All the facilities displayed on MEANS portal propose an access for industrial users. The type of service proposed depends on each facility. Once you have selected the facility, the type of access assorted with the facility is indicated. You may have more information on access terms (opening percentage, possible ratio industrial vs academic, specific terms, etc…) either by contacting the Technical Facility Manager (TFM), or by visiting the website assorted with the facility when it exists.
• I am an academic laboratory, what can I expect from MEANS portal ?
  All the facilities displayed on MEANS portal propose an access for academic. The type of service proposed depends on each facility. Once you have selected the facility, the type of access assorted with the facility is indicated. • Can I be sure of the level of expertise proposed around the facilities displayed in MEANS portal ?
  All the facilities displayed on MEANS portal are under the responsibility of a technical facility manager who’s clearly identified. Most of the time, a full technical team is dedicated to the facility and this team ensures the maintenance and technological developments around the facility. These people are able to welcome external users and they can manage their experiments. Moreover, local research teams also use the tools displayed in MEANS portal, which guaranteed a certain level of scientific expertise around each facility.
