- In situ
This X-ray computed tomography equipment allows the 3-dimensional characterization of materials in a non-destructive way. This is the v | tome | x s model from GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies Phoenix X | ray. It was commissioned in July 2006. The system features a 160 kV RX tube with a firing size of up to 1μm. The Varian Paxscan detector has an active surface of 250 x 200 mm with a matrix of 1920 x 1536 pixels (pixel size = 127 μm). The large size of the radiation protection enclosure allows the insertion of in-situ testing devices (mechanical stressing machines, heating systems, freezing devices, etc.). Do not hesitate to contact the manager of the platform for more information.
