Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) is a sintering process under pressure allowing work at high temperature with high speed ((100°C/min). Plasma is generated by electric shocks. This non conventional sintering device allows densification of diffrent powders : ceramic, metallic, composite. Different sintering atmosphere can be used : neutral (argon), nitrogen, hydrogen, vaccum. Diffrent mold sizes exist : 10mm to 80mm. The maximum work temperature is 2400°C. You can contact the platform manager to more information.
