The coupling of gas chromatography with high resolution mass spectrometry is very useful for the identification of volatile and non-thermolabile unknown molecules in complex mixtures, as well as for the measurement of their exact mass. It also has an integrated data bank (NIST). It can be used with different ionization sources (electronic impact or chemical ionization.) Please contact the CCSM manager for more information.
