The Nanowizard III atomic force microscope is equipped with 100x100x15µm3 XYZ piezos and an extra Z piezo of 100µm can be used in place of the standard Z if the microscope is used in CellHesion mode. Available imaging modalities are Contact, Alternative Contact (AC, equivalent to Tapping®) and Force Modulation mode. Force spectroscopy can also be done, using the following modalities: standard ramping (ramp), Force Mapping (FM, equivalent to Force Volume®) and Quantitative Imaging® (QI, NOT! corresponding to Bruker's Peak Force QNM®). The Nanowizard III is coupled with a white light zoom tube for bright field and phase contrast top-view imaging. The instrument is mounted on an active antivibration system in an acoustic enclosure.
This microscope is accessible to all academic and industrial users, that have attended the specific 1 to 2 days training.
