This bioreactor works with a glass vessel. It has a pH and oxygen measuring electrode and is thermostatically controlled. Oxygen is supplied by means of a pump. The use of other gases is possible. The maximum culture volume is 4 L. The device is computer controlled and programmable. The follow-up of the cultures is recorded automatically. Possibility to add a probe for continuous optical density measurement of bacterial cultures.
