The X-ray diffraction centre Henri Longchambon has four X-ray diffractometers. The Bruker D8 Advance Da Vinci is a Bragg-Brentano diffractometer equipped with a high capacity sample charger and a linear detector allowing fast data collections time. It is dedicated to the study of polycrystalline or bulk materials (powder, polymers, metals,…). It allows phase identification within a sample (ICDD PDF4+ database), crystallite size determination or low angles measurements of mesoporous compounds.
