The X-ray diffraction centre Henri Longchambon has four X-ray diffractometers. The Mova Rigaku Oxford single-crystal is equipped with a microfocus X-ray source which delivers a smaller but more intense beam than conventional sealed tubes. This system allows to carry out measurement on small single-crystal or small amounts of polycrystalline materials. One can also study samples under high-pressure using a diamond anvil cell. The diffractometer is equipped with a low temperature system that allows measurement in the 80 to 300 K range.
